HVFC is happy to announce that we will be relaunching our Junior Firefighter program this fall. With Phase One of our capital campaign complete we can host meetings and training at our interim station. We have a new team of members who will lead the restructured program. This is a great opportunity for youth ages 10 through 15 to learn about the emergency services field, teamwork, leadership, community service, have fun and will be eligible to earn service hours for school. Many former Juniors have gone on to serve the public in rewarding public safety careers to include being a firefighter, EMT, paramedic, flight paramedic, police officer, 911 Dispatcher and more.

We will host an informational session in mid-September for anyone who may be interested and would like more information. We ask current and prospective members and at least one parent/guardian to attend. Watch our website and social media for the date and time. The program will re-start in October, meeting twice a month.

We are asking all current Junior members and anyone interested in joining to complete the new online application to ensure accurate up to date information.
