T-2 RESPONDS MUTUAL AID TO BALTIMORE COUNTY FOR MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION

On 3/1/21 at approx. 1700 hrs. T-2 was alerted to respond with Baltimore County units for a motor vehicle collision (MVC) While enroute the dispatcher advised that it was a multi vehicle collision with a vehicle into a house. T-2 arrived on location with Medic 855 from Upperco VFC and found a 2 vehicle MVC that resulted in a pickup truck going airborne and striking a house. All occupants were out of the vehicles and being checked for injuries by the medic crew. T-2 checked the structural stability of the house and deemed that it was unsafe and requested the response of a building inspector and Battalion Chief. Battalion Chief 22 (Kemp) responded to the scene and placarded the home as unsafe for entry until appropriate repairs could be made. The crew from T-2 assisted the home owner with retrieving belongings and shut off utilities to the house. All occupants from both vehicles involved refused medical treatment at the scene. No occupants in the home were injured in the incident. Units operated on scene for over 3 hours. Baltimore County Police are handling the accident investigation.
