Last evening Engine 21 and Truck 2 responded mutual aid into Baltimore County for a third alarm building fire in the 19900 block of Reisterstown Rd. at the Advance Auto Parts store.

During the early stages of the fire a Baltimore County firefighter declared a MAYDAY due to a ceiling collapsing on him. He was rescued by the Rapid Intervention Team and transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Truck 2 was used for its ladder pipe (nozzle), and HVFC crews operated on the scene for just over four hours.
